2025 STAFF PROMOTION DOCUMENTATION

General Instructions

This is to inform all Teaching, Non-Teaching, and SUBEB Headquarters Staff that the year 2025 Promotion Examination for officers on Grade Levels 07 to 17, in line with the Public Service Rules (PSR), has been scheduled to hold as follows:

  1. Online Documentation:

    All qualified staff are to complete the online documentation by following the steps below:

    1. All officers who are eligible and due for promotion are required to complete their online registration through the official link provided below:
      https://promotion.subeb.kwarastate.gov.ng
    2. Click “Start Registration” and fill in all required details correctly.
    3. Officers on Grade Level 14 and above who do not possess original Degree Certificate will not be eligible to sit for the CBT promotion examination.

    4. Eligible candidates are expected to upload the underlisted documents for registration:

      • Letter of First Appointment
      • Last Promotion Letter
      • Recent Passport Photograph

      Failure to upload the required documents may render such application invalid.

    5. Identification Requirement

      All candidates must present the followings at the examination venue:

      • KWASRRA Identification Card
      • National Identification Number (NIN)
      • Staff Identification Card

    Registration Deadline: Wednesday, 21st January, 2026.

  2. Promotion Examination (CBT):

    • The Promotion Examination will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
    • After completing registration, staff are required to select their preferred CBT centre within the portal.
    • Examination schedules and venue details will be available on the portal prior to the test date.

    Approved CBT Examination Centres:

    Candidates may register to sit for the examination at any of the approved CBT centres, irrespective of their LGA:

    • Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin – CBT Centre
    • Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa – CBT Centre
    • Lafiagi Emirate Information & Technology Hub, Emir's Road, Lafiagi – CBT Centre

    Candidates Must Note the Following:

    • You are advised to arrive at the CBT venue one hour before your scheduled time.
    • Phones and electronic devices such as smartwatches, calculators, headphones, Bluetooth devices, etc., will not be permitted in the examination hall.
    • Bags, backpacks, handbags, and similar items will not be allowed in the examination hall.
    • Impersonators will be handed over to the appropriate security agencies.
  3. Candidates are advised to comply strictly with all instructions, as non-compliance may lead to disqualification of such candidates.
